Mexican Summer & Anthology

Norma Tanega was an astonishingly gifted musician, songwriter, painter, activist, teacher, and dreamer whose lifelong pursuit of art, individualism, and homegrown creativity left an enduring legacy after her 2019 passing. Now, Anthology celebrates the breadth of these achievements across two releases.

As a testament to the life of a beloved, distinctive creator, Anthology is honored to offer I’m the Sky, a comprehensive survey of Tanega’s musical output, and Try to Tell a Fish About Water, an immersive visual biography, together for a limited time.

The bundle includes a double CD with extensive liner notes and a 160-page book featuring Tanega’s colorfully expressionistic paintings as well as photos, illustrations, journal entries, and other mementos from the artist’s winding, resolutely creative life.
