Mexican Summer & Anthology

After releasing the critically acclaimed Estrela Acesa (2022), Mexican Summer is pleased to continue its exploration of Sessa's musical vision with a limited, five year anniversary edition of his debut album Grandeza, out June 28. On pink + purple splatter and limited to 1,000 copies, Grandeza is an album about Sessa's "love for Brazilian music and its many shapes and colors". Originally released in 2019, the debut set the scene for Sao Paulo-born Sessa, who The New Yorker called a "songwriter cut from Veloso's mold and blessed with a flair for the intimate, the enigmatic, and the licentious."
